I had only a little free time on Saturday morning so i decided to get out the yak. On the water by 730. The tide was moving in pretty good. Got to my spot and decided to use a light colored spin bait. The water i was in was about 2-3ft and it was not the clearest but the sun was starting to shine through. Only managed to hook up with one over slot and missed two in the grass. Beautiful morning!! The water was glass! Back home by 10 to enjoy(no)shopping with my girlfriend.

Hurricane, it was some really high water. Fish were there way up in the grass. Sometimes i would be casting 20ft into grass Do you mean the fins when you are talking about parasites? That area by the hook is actually where he almost ripped the hook right out fighting comeing out of the grass. He was only about 5 1/2 to 6lbs but had fight like none i’ve caught recently. Awesome fight that morning!
