Been real busy for the past week, fished Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Highlight of the week was getting impaled on a 3/0 owner short shank and catching a VERY LARGE NEARLY EXTINCT RED SNAPPER. Well this one went 29.12! I fished on Thursday with Under Contract, 23 Snailfish, and Trent…Groupers and B-liners. Fished Friday with Mike O and Trent…ARS, B-liners and BSB’s. I got to hear Mike say that he would rather “Drink Whoopee Goldberg’s bathwater” than do something…I can’t quite remember what it was, but had something to do with Boars Head Bologna and Mayonnaise! We tried to fish the CIA Sheephead Tourney on Saturday, but was a bust, so decided to get some real fish. Had Mrs. Sells, and my oldest son (Pro Puker) and trent. We finished the day with a box of big blue head BSB’s biggest was 5.4,and a nice king. We saw a 50 lb+ Cobia right outside Dynamite Hole on the surface, a 13’ Hammerhead, and about a hundred happy Molas! Here are the pics…

P.S. only a few more weeks to help Red Snappers on their way to extinction!

Ouch on the hook! Did you clip the barb off and slide it out, or just yank it out?

Nice snapper. You can just tell by the belly on that one that he is a whopper. Also, that one appears to have a yellow iris.

Nice fish Paul. Did you take bolt cutters to the barb end of that Owner hook?

Nice job on the fish guys! We were out trolling that wed and heard on the radio about someone getting a hook in thier hand! Tried hailing you guys on radio but I think you were a ways away from us.
