I have enough bait left for one more trip. Where should I go? On trip one, two weeks ago, I got a two pounds of decent shrimp at the crab bank. On trip 2, last Saturday, zero, not a one in Bulls Bay … two passes in one location and I moved the poles. Tried three passes at the new location, still zero. Trip three, last night off James Island Yacht Club … 30 shrimp from sunset to 8:30 … one large, the rest pretty small … double A and triple A battery size.
Season closes in 2.5 hours - you should go as close to where your boat is as possible!

I guess my next trip will be to the commercial shrimp pier to buy some shrimp. I don’t have a one in the freezer.
Today’s plans have changed. It is time to put away the nets and poles and put the trolling motor back on. Maybe I can do a lot better with November reds.
