Come on MIKE Give up a report for all of us at work and can’t run to the ledge everyday, Charleston’s greatest charter boat could afford a minute or two to inform the people…

True that - Missing reports from the good guys…

I agree as well. You use to provide very good reports to the site now the only threads created are to drum up business. Please begin posting reports again so that we may share knowledge. I am sure it will also help you in word of mouth advertising. I, like many that talk about fishing 24-7 get asked lots of questions, many are looking for ideas on good charters.

You see, Mikey was once a mate and had to work 16 hours a day, sometimes more, and then go get on the computer and type in his very detailed and sometimes comical reports. Now Mikey is el Capitan and has to work much harder, coughbull****cough, and doesn’t have the time to share his daily accomplishments. All said in fun!

Would people actually follow the big boats out and fish around them? Talk about weak! I would not be satisfied with my catch if I didn’t make the call on which areas to fish…

Scoutin’ - its comments like you made above that keep our areas best captains from posting reports. Good job sweet talkin’ the guy.

Mike has said time and time again to email him, call him, or come to the dock and see what they are catching. How many captains do that?

Do you remember when all of the charter boys told us what they were doing everyday? They helped us decide where to go (or not go) on more that one occasion. Don’t you think it’s odd that they don’t post anymore? Think to yourself why that may be. It’s because they are tired of people telling them they kill too many fish, don’t give enough information, and so on. It is easier for them to not post at all.

Thanks to all the charter guys who have posted on CF.com. We appreciate that despite the fact that you are only getting 4 hours sleep you take (or once took) your valuable downtime to post your fishing reports.

I did not say anything about him killing to many fish or not giving enough info. I really enjoyed reading his posts and wish he would start posting again. MY understanding is he stopped posting cause a he got tired of a very small population of people that were ragging him about his success. Not sure what their motivation was but I can see how that would piss him off. I respect that. He is a GREAT fisherman and his clients always catch fish. Good for him and his crew. I like many read this site everyday and try to help out those seeking help and provide information to aid in the success of other fisherman. When it comes time that I need advise I, like others, would like the same in return. All I am saying. It is about giving and recieveing. You wash my hands I wash yours. I think it is only fair that if you are asking for help to run

Sorry don’t know how to use the quote feature. Isn’t that why they have a Captain’s forum here? Why not just use that? I don’t offshore fish, but the reports are fun to read. I may just get out there one day.

he has open dates. that is all he is saying. I am pretty sure he pays a fee where he can advertise on this webpage. Give him a break.

Once we were offshore and came apon a big ole blue sport fisher…it resembled a navy blue kite…with a tail made of little white center consoles spaced every 1/4 mile or so behind it

Bingo!

OVER BUDGET

Why not post in the offshore Capt.Reports forum, for the fishing report, than not worry about the BS from the peanut gallery. Said area isnt needed, when posting.

Pretty simple…business is good no need to post reports…gas prices up, business bad…you must start reporting…

Welcome back Aggressor, I look foreword to reading your reports again.

Is that what you saw last time you were offshore?

When was that again? Last week? Last year? Five years ago? Do tell us of your extensive offshore trolling knowledge. Inquiring minds want to know.

If I ever see you on the water again, I will come and anchor up within 10’ of you…and that’s a promise!
