Open Striper tournament to help Wounded Warriors

Just a reminder that the SBCC will be hosting a tournament to raise funds and awareness for our wounded warriors on Lake Hartwell on April 27th and on Clarks Hill Lake May 25th and would appreciate any help and participation from local striped bass anglers.

The entry fee for each event is $150/boat which includes the Big Fish. More information will be provided later, or you can contact me via email or phone to 864-91five-five3four8.

2-Fish Tournament Creel
Payout is 80% with 50% of the payout to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 3rd for both the Tournament and the Big Fish.

For the Hartwell event, the weighin will be at 4:00PM at Portman Marina.

We are also looking for people interested in donating to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and in taking out a wounded hero on the lake striper fishing. So far we have 2-wounded warriors signed up to participate for Lake Hartwell. If you would like to help us out please let us know.

The Clarks Hill event is developing very well and we have already received committments for at least 9 sponsored wounded warriors and we are targeting taking out 20 or more of our heros that day. That event is on May 25th out of Dorn Fishing Facility.

Although the Hartwell event is approaching very fast, I wanted to tell everyone that the Clark’s Hill event looks like it is taking off. Our target is to raise enought funds to sponsor 20 wounded hero’s in that event. And our local representative there helping promote the event indicates that he has over 1/3 of the wounded hero’s already sponsored. If we get more than the 20-paid sponsorships we will simply increase the invitation to get more wounded hero’s involved.
