Opinions about On Board Chargers...

After lugging my big trolling motor battery in and out of the console one too many times I have decided to look into onboard chargers. I was curious as to who has them, likes and dislikes, and what you would recommend. I am also debating between and AC and the DC. Does anybody have one that runs off the motor and do you like it? Thanks for the help.
By the way, I have a 12V system with one battery for the trolling motor and another battery for starting and electronics.

I spliced a male plug, that matches my trolling motor end to my battery charger cables. just plug it in, no need to remove the battery. just make sure your wiring is suitable for this application.

I have this system on my boat. I have a cranking battery, house battery and two trolling motor batteries. The System is amazing. I charges the all batteries while I am running the boat and can also charge while I am towing the boat. If you have any questions call and ask for Danny he is the owner.

UTV 13, whicn system are you referring to?

Sorry

Looks like a great system! Thanks for the info.

I have 2 onboard chargers for my boat, 1 for the 2 trolling motor batteries and the other is for my starting battery and electronics/backup battery. Nice I just plug them in and I always have batteries ready to go.

I use the Guest onboard chargers and they are automatic so they will not over charge and are waterproof.
