Ok Here’s my 2011 year in review. I have hung around guys like Optiker and other low country anglers who know their stuff and it has paid off. If you’re not a member of a club, I recommend joining one. Between the club members at SSWA and actually getting on the water and scouting, I have had a pretty good year. I can’t wait to see what 2012 brings.

First time targeting tailers with Optiker. Had two pigs on and they both spit the hook. Ugh! (Rookie)
Personal best inshore red. 32". Lousy pic but I wanted to get her back in the water.
One of my first topwater trout of the year. Not very big but fun as hell to catch.
First place flounder in the SSWA club tourney.
36" Cobia caught on a blustery day. Personal best and a SSWA club record. I should say “Adult” record as Opti’s son holds the total record with a 42" beast!
Battling a 7FT nurse shark at the Edisto 40. 20lb braid and got her to the boat.

Thanks GregRo. Used a Badonk a Donk bone color topwater. That fish just sucked it down with hardly a splash. Very cool.
