I have the opportunity to repower to a newer 300hp outboard for a great price, so my 2002 optimax 225 25" shaft is going to need a new home.
I just put a new trim pump, upper pivot pin, and bushings in this week.
I had the upper and lower cowls repainted and new decals installed.
The starter, spark plugs, and water pump impeller/housing were replaced this year.
Probably just under 700 hours, and it has even compression across all cylinders. I trusted this motor to the gulf stream a few times this year. As of right now, everything on it works except the trim level sensor for the gauge and the speedometer. I never needed them so I never bothered.

If anyone is interested, BAR marine in jacksonboro is removing it and the rigging to make room for an E-Tec, so everything could be included. They could also give you a good price on installing this motor on your boat, if you were interested.
If you are interested in seeing it run, jump on the deal because this motor wont be on the boat much longer.
