Optimax alarm

I just started having issues with my 2003 135 Optimax. When I turn the key on I get the 1 test beep and then a pause for about 15 seconds then the alarm comes back on solid without any pause. the engine will start , alarm still on …

I have checked the level on both oil tanks - good just installed new fuel water separator filters . engine sat all night so it cant be a temp issue.

I believe it to be a sensor issue , but do not know how to isolate it…

Any input is greatly appreciated…

Thank you
Raymond.

replace a lot of parts, or have it hooked up to a computer to see what code is showing

Water in fuel or a failure in the oil injection system. Give me your email and I’ll send you a copy of the manual. I’ve got the same motor. Have fun is all I will say…

thanks . I think I may have a faulty temp sensor. I removed the one from the starboard cylinder head and it was cracked. If I wiggled it the alarm would go on and off. I ordered on from Chris V’s place today. We’ll see what happens when I install it…

Thanks again …
