so…did that get your attention too???..well it did me so I said …what the heck…lets give it a try…
1st step…cook 2 cups of cut cantalope until soft…then mash…
then added in sugar/flour/vanilla/egg yolks/butter…heating and cooking then whipping and pouring into a pie shell…
so…what did it taste like…

absolutely horrible…tasted like pureed baby food poured into a pie shell…but worse… I mean I couldnt even swallow it!!
it quickly went into the trash can…smart alec husband says laughs and says…so what are you going to do now…laugh -laugh…you said we were having homemade dessert tonight…well sir…never ever throw a challenge like that my way :twisted:
open the refrig…and here ya go…
fresh peaches cut up and placed on a rolled out canned pizza dough crust
added a little appricot preserves/cinnamonsugar/dash of clove and allspice/ rolled up, brushed with egg white and another dash of cinnamon sugar and
baked
Roo had to have some dessert too.
you do know they make ice cream for dogs too
