There has been quite a bit of interest via PM and e-mail so here are a few more details:
Boat: 54’ Paul Mann-“A Salt Weapon”, Capt. Dennis Endee.
I booked the boat at a good time for me, later find that some of my regulars can’t make it. Decided to opt out of the “internet” crew. Called the Capt. and told him such. He told me he wanted to switch to an overnighter. He layed out the plan and price and I told him to give me a day or two to see what I could come up with.
Theoretically with the weather up there the trip could get blown out, only be good for one day(either day) or go just as planned. You will need to flexible as we will only pay for what we “use”. If we put six people on the boat and get to do the overnight as planned, the boat cost will be less than advertised.
I am driving up Thursday around lunchtime. I will stay at my friendly fishing dive, Fins and Feathers in Manteo. The ride from Hilton Head is about 7 hours, so Charleston is probably about 6. There will be room in my truck for one or you can go alone. Boat will leave 5AM on Friday, return 12noon on Saturday. You can stay in Manteo for the night and drive back Sunday or whatever. I will likely haul arse after my tuna are cleaned by the processor.
A weather call will be made before anyone hits the road. I would like to have folks not hung up on the overnighter. I would like to kill some yft whether we get one day or the other or for the overnight.
That should be enough info to make a decision.
There is the possibility of one spot open. We may fill it for just the right person, but it must be a single.
