Orvis Customer Service

Top notch. Noticed I was charged shipping and handling on some items that were advertised as free shipping on the internet. Made one call to them and the woman credited my account and is going give me $10 off my next order with them. Score for me.

Sanford in 2012!

I have always had better than expected service from Orvis. Glad to hear it continues. LOVE my Orvis T3 rod. It was a replacement for an old rod. NO charge!

The only thing wrong is it’s an Orvis rod…

Thought you were in the market to buy that "GL2". Sounds like you will fish with anything!

Not me… I got my March Browns and they kick the dookie outa anything Orvis makes and will give Sage a run for thier money too  The only thing good about POrvis rods is they do have good customer service but… while we had 7 broken Orvis rods in Iraq for thre fly fishing school, we got nothing back from them after we tried contacting them several times… they were still waiting when I left in May for an answer on what they would do for us there… March Brown on the other hand… I broke the top of my 8wt off… called them that day and 8 days later I had a brand new upgrade rod in my hands no questions asked. They stand behind their World Wide gaurentee… Orvis is good but these guys are AWESOME  If ya see me fishin I’ll have a MB in my hand… Never used a G Loomis fly rod, like my St Croix’s, my Orvis 8wt… yeah it’s dust covered and sitting in the corner…and it will be for some time to come too

Had a rod upgraded as well when I broke one. St. Croix has the best CS I have dealt with.

Your crazy. the Helios is the best rod out there. The technology that was put in that rod is unmatched. Put that up with their customer service and you are golden.

I went by their store in myrtle beach the other day, wish i had some extra coin.

I think that Orvis has a pretty good tradition in the fly fishing community. It’s probably one of the reasons I became interested in fly fishing. If I move on or away from a company or brand, I don’t like to schite where I previously ate. I have no bad words for Orvis.

Sometimes I speak Irish.

Before everbody bashes Orvis, remember that they originated the lifetime waranty on rods, all other manufacturers were forced to follow suit!!! If your broken rod is discontinued, they usually give you an upgrade…
