weather loked perfect, so we put together a last minute crew, cleared the Jettys just before 5 and headed to SWB. Couldn’t ask for better conditions. We saw so much life, that we put lines in at 110 feet. Managed to lose quite a bit of tackle on fish not allowed on board, so $100 later picked up lines and ran the rest of the way. Redeployed at 9:00 and before the 3rd line hit the water, port side rigger starts screaming. This moderately sized fish put on a helluva fight. 22# wahoo. The rest of the day was kind of slow, but no complaints on ultra flat ocean. Highlights included: 20# Bull that ate 2 baits and me and Hot Carl reeled him in together. Finding releif in 160 feet, putting motors in neutral and staying right where we stopped. Literrally no drift. Cruising home at full speed and staying completely dry. New JL speakers installed sound great, thanks to the guys at Accucom for the great last minute job.
