It was a good day. If there was one thing wrong with it, I would say there were just to many Donkeys piled up on the ledge. We could not even get the bigger baits to soak a bit.

Is that the 26ā seafox? It looks like a solid boat. I have not fished a seafox yet, and hear good things from the ones that own them, and bad things from the hull truth . com. How is that boat offshore? It looks like there is plenty of fishing room. how much fuel do you use on a ledge run?

The Boat belongs to āNo Fencesā( AKA Danny). Danny lives up in Anderson. It is a 29 Sea Fox. Not sure about the year, but he out fitted it with 2007 Optiās and on a calm it day it can scream as we came back in at 54mph.
As far as being a good boat or not, well, I am a prior Sea Fox owner and I recognized some of the handy work.
Bottom line on Sea Fox is this. They are affordable! They get you out on the water and for the most part from I can tell they get you back. I learned a lot about Boat Repair with my my 23 CC. I have a Sea King now and there is no comparison. But then, I am paying a little more as well.

I have a 2001 sea fox sells and it was the first boat i ever boat. I love going to all the reefs and king fishing, bottom fishing, and a few trips out for sails. I love the boat and the only thing i dislike is the fact that if i do not have my trim tabs working it porpuses a lot but then a agin i also have a 110 gal fuel tank. other then that 3 people it fishes very good.

I had one for 1 day if that tells you anything. Not impressed at all. Broken stringers and so many bolts and screws in the back that they needed to be swept with a broom. In my opinion not a serious offshore boat. But my opinion and 50 cents will get you a newspaper.

I have a nice 23 for sale with 2 115s on it if ANYONE wants it. Like mentioned above very fast but it will beat you to death. But for a 23 foot with twins for under 20K two motors always beats one when you are about 50 miles out.

Relax, I donāt think Sells was trying to steer you wrong. Pick up a Hot Spot map of the local area at one of the bait shops. There are several to shop in Mt Pleasant.
The Garden is a live bottom area about 25 miles out and if I recall correctly, itās about 80 feet water.
Last, if your new to posting on a fishing forum, I recommend you go easy before calling someone out. There a lot good guys on this forum that are more than willing to take you along and show you the ropes so to speak.
Of course, they will be looking for your share of gas also:wink:
