Out the door 56°

Well let’s see what happens.
Meeting a buddy and his son at The landing at 7:30

Hope you have a good one. The fish should get hungry as the temps start to drop.

About 15 boats the jetties don’t see anybody catching anything. Tide just changed hopefully they turn on

Hopefully they will be hungry as the tide turns & the water starts moving?.

You targeting bull Reds?

Yep we’re after Big reds. Didn’t see anybody catching anything except a couple blue fish and toad fish.
Full moon high tide when we got on the water at 08. Run back into Dunn sound found a School of mullet 1 and done. Ocean was pretty calm made a run towards Cherry Grove found Manhattan 1 and done. Put a few in the live well. Filled a 5 gallon bucket to freeze for crab pots. Let the rest go for the fish gods.
Low tide run back into the creek to try to find some shrimp. Tried several good spots probably throw the net 10 times ended up with 3 shrimp. Put them on a float and a couple mullet on the bottom. Nothing.
Hit a couple more spots nothing.
Went back to the jetties fished about another hour. Getting ready to go rod started peeling dragged.
Big Ray.

Made their day got to pull on something.
Got ready to go told my buddy watch this. Everyone was fishing on the South Jetty. Pulled over to the North jetty put a couple rods in the rod holders. Tie the bucket too 1 of the rods and lowered it over and run around the boat for a few minutes like I had a fish.
Got the net acting like we had a fish. Wasn’t 5 minutes before 3 boat showed up. Got a good laughing when home.
