I need to get some work done on my 1995 2 stroke evinrude 25 hp and wanted to get some recommendations on some repair shops/mechanics in the charleston area. Looking for someone reputable at a good price.
It seems as if the carbs need to be cleaned or rebuilt as the engine is doing a lot of stuttering/popping and will cut off when idling or at low speeds. It is hard to pull start but as soon as i prime/choke it, it fires right up every time (may be an issue with fuel supply) and i have a spun prop hub.
Anybody have any experience with dukes marine on james island?
