Outriggers

What’s the most cost effective way, brand, set up? I have the hard top with the underside brackets to drill hole thru top to mount them. I already have 15’ taco poles that are rigged up but I never got a chance to use 5 years ago. They were made to just slide into the brackets mounted boat side.

Pm Phin. He’s Mr. Marsh Tacky. That said, he’s a down to earth kind of guy and won’t push you into “his” product. What he will do is be honest with you and give you lots of options and rigging mounts and ideas for your situation.

I’m in the process of tricking out my Pioneer with Marsh Tacky stuff. I never had the vision for it the way he saw it. It sounded impossible, but after he started breaking things down for me, it was very possible. I’m glad I took the time to ask him and even more thankful that he took the time to explain and break things down for me.

Do it right the first time is all I can say,.

Rumor has it there is a set of Marsh Tacky’s with my name on them somewhere in the vicinity of the lowcountry…hope to get them this weekend and put on the boat. Wes hooked it up with some Z30 bases, too.

Just installed Rupp Z 30 ordered from Star Marine which was the cheapest deal I could find on line and Marsh Tacky 17 retractables with a center on my 27. The bases come in different sizes so if you are going to use the tacos be certain they will fit. Easy install and Im happy with both so far.
