P&C posted on search for overdue fisherman. Any information on status of search?
Bass boat at the jetties, never a good idea. I hope they are found soon and in good condition.

Coast Guard found the boat upside down 10 miles out from Bulls Bay.

That hull looks bigger than a bass boat. Looks like more freeboard than a bass boat.
It doesn’t appear to be a bass boat in the photos. Praying for the families.

It’s not a bass boat. Its an older center console. The two men occupying the boat are still missing. Joe, one of the missing men frequently fishes the jetties, grillage and dynamite hole. His truck and trailer were located at Remleys. The boat was located the day after the men were overdue. Keep your eyes peeled around the harbor this weekend.

looks kind of like a whaler to me, outrage, with that front railing…
prayers to the family
'bout time
Prayers for the families. Lots of boats fishing the jetties these days, surprised another boat didn’t see them in distress. I’m always aware of the other boats in my vicinity and have seen some crazy stuff out there over the past 15 years.

The boat was a Glassmaster. They still have not been located.

It was a different group, the group found just now went missing yesterday afternoon. Their boat was found capsized this morning. 23’ Mako.
I feel bad for the families of the other boaters. It has got to be a tough call having to call off a search. Hard on the family as well with out any closure. Still praying.

Glad they found those 4, a guy in my neighborhood fished with them before.
Two different boats.
Two older gentlemen in 18’ bass boat out of jetties never found. Prayers to them.
Two middle aged men with an 11 and 12 yo in a 23’ Mako found and safe.

Wasn’t a bass boat, it was something along the lines of a Glassmaster.
I talked to a lady that knows the families of the two missing guys. Kind of bizarre, she said one had some sort of spinal injury, and wore a neck brace apparatus that extended onto his shoulders. The second guy was also handicapped, and used a Hover-Round for mobility. Apparently the Hover-Round was at the dock, so he must’ve crawled onto the boat somehow.
Sad, something probably happened (maybe the boat headed towards the rocks or an anchor got hung up) and neither had the mobility to fix it before disaster struck.
Any sign of these two men? You would think something would wash up if the accident was at the mouth of the harbor.
Boat was overturned in the immediate area. As for finding bodies? Toothy critters prob beat anyone to that by now…
