Overnight Saturday into Sunday

Short report til get time get pictures/video from all that participated. Pushed out Saturday around 11AM for grouper holes, dropping some barts along the way. Went 1 for 1 on wahoo in only 100’ stopping around 200" for bottom. Picked up some groceries as grouper were not cooperating as well as mother nature. With the rough seas/wind still showing no cease fire we anchored up on some live bottom in only 240’. Caught quite a few large sharks, snapper, and other small species through out night when decided sleeping wasn’t for me. Around 4AM light started and few of us were jigging away with butterfly jigs. Produced everything from grouper, cobia, and snapper before decided turn back around 10AM as bite was slow. trolled back picking up another wahoo in 130’ on a weedline that was actually “too good to be true” as nothing but bait fish was in the area.

All in all good trip, smooth ride Sunday after Saturday the ocean was just confused. Good fish box and fun crew made the slow bite Saturday all the better. If you ever have chance go overnight on clear skies I recommend it. The sites you see up in the sky when its pitch black can not be described with words.
