Looking at taking my son to the Wando. Weather channel says 5 mph winds. I am on Lake Moultrie and it seems a lot stronger than that. I have a 16 ft Gheenoe so I have to play it safe. How does it look down there?
Nice right now. I would guess 5-8mph. Upper Wando area.

Hope your trip was good. Wind picked up a little, but it was a beautiful day.
Beautiful day on the water. We caught 9 with the largest being 19 inches. Brought home for dinner. All were trout. No redfish and plenty of weakfish and rays. Lots of fun. My sons first trout.
