I see a lot of pictures of guides taking people to areas with huge oyster mounds as far as the eye can see. The only place i have ever seen like that was in kiawah creek on the low tide. I spooked 3 fish in my kayak that i am assuming were large reds. Anyone ever try that spot and have any luck?

Those are large mud flats at low tide. Redfish school up on those in the winter. If you have a kayak you can access many of those. The large expanse of mud flats on the Kiawah River would be a great starting place.

Yeah I took the Kayak to Bowens Island the other day because i remembered seeing a ton of oyster mounds once upon a time and found tons of reds schooled up Im taking my fly rod and my Camera with on friday hopefully ill be able to post up some pics
