It’s still a ways away, but ran across this in the Off Topic Forum and figured I’d post here for those that don’t read some of the other forums.
Whether you eat oysters or not, this is always a good time. We normally make a weekend of it and head down there Sat am, get checked in at a hotel next to the Coliseum and then head to the oyster roast on JI. In the morning we walk over to the Charleston Boat Show and spend a few hours there before heading home.
Even if you just ride down for the oyster roast it’s well worth the trip.
