I’m going shrimping in North BB this week and was wanting to know where would be a good place to harvest some oysters. Do a 2 for 1 trip, since shrimp hide when I show up. I figure oysters are a bit slower, so it won’t be a wasted trip. I know this is about shrimp but I can’t find any tread here. I’ve seen the maps of were you can go, if I could just get it pinpointed a little. Thanks
Go to the DNR website, they will tell you where you can go.

I like the way you think. I have mastered oyster hunting and find them much easier to catch than shrimp or fish. Like jsc84tgr said, go to DNR’s website and they have maps that show the areas that you can legally harvest oysters.

ICW is the location this year. We boated over to MCLV and picked up a bushel due to high tide last weekend. They were great and $25. DNR has a map (I put a link in the inshore reports a few weeks ago) Hopefully get some this weekend.
