So I am going to try the fly fishing paddle board trip next week. Targeting reds on the fly. Any helpful hints regarding the board would be appreciated!

I have a thin neoprene suit, expecting to take a dive at some point I’m sure. The board is not as stable as I thought it would be but seems manageable. Hope to be able to get into some pretty skinny water.

Any details on this paddleboard trip? Is it part of a group outing? I’m always looking for more people to fish with

I just got the board in an effort to get to the skinny water fish this time of year. I went out today and did a scouting trip. Planning to go the week Dec 30-Jan 4th. I will say that from what I saw today I believe things are going to be very good.
I actually got pretty wet today but that was fine. As cold as it was today, I think that my gear will do the job keeping me warm even while wet. felt quite comfortable getting in the water. the fish are stacked up in the most difficult places, not reachable by boat.
