PainKiller MEATFISH SLAM 4/8/15

With spring break upon us and the family in town - my father, my brother in law, 11 year old daughter, 12 year old niece and Capt Jay left the dock at 8:30 am. Off to the GT hole with the best forecast of the year…

Lines in, not even all of the lines in, and my Bro in Law boats a nice 20lb Hoo. WAHOO!

Continue the troll, my niece lands her first blue water fish, a large slinger Mahi. We had a double hook up but one got away.

Next up is a sailfish who strips three baits, never taking the hook.

Tuna, tuna and more tuna! We lost more than we caught. Double hook ups, short strikes, popping planars, action non-stop. We were following birds and marking fish EVERYWHERE!

More family fun back at the house - cutting our trip to a half day once again. Back at the dock at 2:45 with a blistering 55 mph run home.

A great time was had by all.

The 2015 Trolling Season is upon us!

Tight Lines,
Jason

Thanks for the report. Nice work.

Wish the other boats would report as well, even if it sucked for them. Those reports are perhaps even more helpful, assuming posting a report is intended to be helpful …
