I know that the Yamaha dealer will sell YAMALUBE spray paint to match your engine.
If your in charleston, go to Parks Automotive paints on Remount rd. I just had some mixed this weekend. I got the paint for a 4 stroke so I think it’s different. A single stage paint was around $22 for a pint or $35ish for a quart. I got a quart. Hardener and thinner is a little more. They already have the “formula” for 2 different yamaha colors.
The stuff in a rattle can won’t last nearly as long or look as good. If your painting a lower unit, it’s fine because your likely going to do it again in a year. But a Cowling won’t look good with a rattle can.
