I will spending a week down on the Palm Coast in a couple of weeks, and I’m looking for some advice. I would like to take my boat, but I will need a place to store it since the neighborhood in which we are staying does not allow boats in the driveway. Also, I may hire a charter (either in or offshore) for a day and would like some recommendations in the area. Fishing pointers for that part of the world are also welcome. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
Tarpon should be moving through about that time. They were active in Canaveral last week when I was down there. Fish just off the beach near the bait pods and look for the rollers. Menhaden and croakers for bait. Look for depth changes off the beach to hold them, navionics app works well to find spots but never been there personally. Hope this helps.

Would be nice to get into some tarpon. Thanks!
there are ramps on the ICW near Palm Coast, and one at the bottom of hwy 100 going into Flagler Beach. there’s a ramp at Tomoka State Park, and Bulow (small boats).
i’ve fished the ICW docks with limited success. lots of pleasure boats and wakes.
you’ll need a low draft boat if you want to get into Pelcier Creek north of Palm Coast.
both Tomoka and Bulow will have snook. go up the either far enough and you can catch largemouth next to redfish.
i hired a guide to fish the Tomoka this past December. Kent Gibbens. PM me if you want his number.
tackle shops are scarce.
the worst part will be the drive on I-95 in SC. there’s a bad bump heading south after you cross one of the little bridges. make sure the strap is tight.

Thanks! I found his website and will see if he has some availability. Appreciate the tip!
Also, the marina at our resort offered a slip for $1 per foot per day with trailer storage. It may worth taking the boat down for that. Would be nice to have it in the water and have immediate access.
