When I stopped by for my bait for a day of practice, the gentleman at Palmetto asked if I could possibly call him Friday with an estimate of how many boats from Midlands will be coming to them for bait Saturday. He plans to open at 4:30 and will get 2 lines going if necessary. I will say their herring is 4-6 inches, plump, and performs well.
