The Palmetto Sportfishers are hosting their 1st annual Redfish Open, Sponsoring the Charleston Ronald McDonald House. This is an approved DNR event, and the weighin will be conducted on a DNR certified scale. The club will be donating 20% of the entry fees, as well as the chance drawing proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House. The tournament is $100 per boat and the rules are simple: We are paying out 2 places. 1st place is largest aggregate weight of up to 3 spottail per boat. 2nd is the 2nd largest aggregate of up to 3 spottail per boat. The payouts are estimated to be $1600-$2000.
The Captain’s meeting will be held at the House of Brews in Mount Pleasant on July 17th at 7:00 PM. There will be live “Chance Drawings” for a Yeti 65QT Blue Tundra, Offshore lures, 3 x Grappler Anchors, a Water’s Edge Gift Card, and a $300 Hotels.com Gift Card.
The Tournament will launch from Remley’s Point on July 19th at 7 AM. The Weigh-in will be at 5PM at Remley’s Point. The club will have a designated Weigh In are in the parking lot.
Please come out and support a great cause. The folks at the Ronald McDonald house do a tremendous job helping out families whose children are undergoing medical treatments in the lowcountry.
