Palmetto Sportfishers/Ronald McDonald House tourn

The Palmetto Sportfishers is hosting the 1st annual Redfish Charity Open to raise money for the Charleston Ronald McDonald House. The Captain’s meeting will be at the House of Brews in Mount Pleasant on July 17th at 7PM. The tournament will be on July 19th at Remley’s Point boat Landing. Launch will be at 7 AM from Remley’s Point and the weigh-in will take place at 5PM. We will be paying out two places. The entry fee is $100 per boat and the payout is estimated to be $1600 - $2000. 1st Place (70%) is largest aggregate total of up to 3 DNR legal Spottail per boat. 2nd Place (30%) is the 2nd largest aggregate total of up to 3 DNR legal Spottail per boat. In the event of a tie, 1st place will be the 1st boat weighed in.

At the Captain’s meeting, we will be holding several chance drawings. The items up for drawing are: A Blue Yeti 65QT Tundra cooler,Yeti Apparel, 3 sets of 3 Mahi/Tuna/Wahoo Lures ($250 Value), 3 x Grappler Anchors gift cards, $300 worth of hotel gift cards etc…

We will also be serving lowcountry BBQ and sides at the Captain’s meeting for $5 a plate.

Registration is open now and up until the close of the Captain’s meeting on July 17th. 100% of the proceeds from the Tournament entry fees, less the tournament payouts will go straight to the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston. 20% of all of the Chance Drawings will go to the Ronald McDonald house. Please come out and support a great local charity.

For those of you who dont know, the Ronald McDonald house in Charleston, houses, feeds and takes care of families whose children are undergoing medical treatment(s) in the lowcountry. They run strictly on donations.
