We’re secretive, but I don’t think I’d go that far. Store construction is moving along nicely. Products are showing up at our warehouse on a daily basis. Yeah…about that commercial…
Instead of a minimum age requirement for working in their marketing department, they must have a maximum age…of 12. The only thing they’re missing are a few more “McGiver-esk” explosions, “A Team-esk” bullet holes and few more “pew pews.” Hopefully they’ll grow as the store does. Too much beautiful scenery down here to not take advantage of it and make a grown up commercial.

Archer, we will carry a variety of rods including: Penn, Shimano, Abu Garcia, W&M, Quantum, Okuma, Falcon, G.Loomis, etc.
We will also carry rod/reel combos.

We’ve made some progress this week in the Fishing Department!
I’ve been to the new Gander Mountain, and quite honestly their fishing department was underwhelming, to say the least. Looks like you guys are getting a good setup from the pictures.
Any freshwater gear, or are y’all going to be primarily saltwater based?
From the pictures, I’d say they are primarilly saltwater. Given where they’re going to be, would there be enough of a freshwater crowd to justify the added expense of adding freshwater lines?
Given the proposed location, I’d be willing to bet the Summerville store will carry freshwater products. Of course, according to the wife, I’ve been wrong twice…just today.

As Archer alluded to, the PSA-MTP store will be primarily saltwater based. We’d have to say roughly 90% inshore products, 10% off-shore. Our PSA-Summerville store will have a much larger freshwater fishing selection than our MTP store.
