Had my regular mini crew with me today aboard PaPa’s Toy, best friend and first mate Tommy and good friend Bill. Left my dock at 6 lines in at the Scarp at 7:50. Beautiful day on the water, rode back at 43 mph. Not much life out there now the bite has slowed. Probably our last trip chasing MAHI for a while. No temp breaks, water temp 76.5 and only scattered weeds. Bite was slow. Fished till about 10:30 and broke off caught some of the regular bottom dwellers.
But we had a great season so far.
