Had a short crew onboard PaPa’s Toy today. Good friend Mike and Scott. Only 3 of us today made it tough to clear lines and get it all done. We had a good day on the water. Fished all over today started at the Scarp and nothing water temp 73. Moved south then offshore to the sanctuary. NADA. moved back in caught first fish in 600’ water temp 74.5. Fished in the weeds all afternoon. Had a tough time with the baits and weed and more weeds. Ended the day with 10 dolphin. Lost the biggest at the boat to a bad crimp on the leader by captain Rick. Now I know when the crimp is to much thats when the line breaks. Had a great ride in made 45 mph all the way in. All in all our best day offshore this season.
