PaPa's Toy Off Shore 6 8 10 (pics)

We awoke to a completely flat sea. Very seldom does that happen. Got a little late start to a malfunctioning alarm clock by one of my first mates. Left the dock at 6 am. Ran 68 miles in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Gat to the winyah scarp and to my surprise no boats out there at all. Had a great crew on board PaPa’s Toy today. Best friend and first mate Tommy. Had Tommy’s son Tracy. Had Mr. Kent and his son fight the big fish Adam who is 12 and first mate Bill. First fish in the boat at 8:30, caught on the down plainer. Big dolphin hit at 9 am my guess is 25lb Adam fought a great fight finally got him to the boat ready to stick with the gaff and like a ghost he was gone. (due to a bad crimp on the leader done by yours truly). Fished till noon and picked up 2 more dolphin. Headed to do some bottom bumping in 130’ and got a variety of meat fish… Had a great day on a beautiful ocean with good friends. I love to see the young ones on a big fish. Finished cleaning the fish and the boat

Nice to see some young anglers getting a shot at some offshore fishing!!! It brings out the kid in us all to see there excitement and a fish that we would consider average can be very special to them! Nicely done!!!
