Paradise Landing Information

Need information and opinions on launching and loading a 19’ G3 boat at Paradise Landing. Info on water depth and security. Thanks

Should be no problem launching your G3 at Paradise Island. Just don’t try it at low tide, the end of the ramp has a pretty good drop off. Also there’s no dock to tie off to, I usually just push the bow up on the bank to the right of the ramp. If you are heading down river, favor the left until you pass the first couple of docks. The parking lot is pretty rough and fills up quick. As for security, I haven’t heard of any problems there…Good luck!

Any public ramp in this area is subject to being hit by thieves. My own locked hard shell bed cover was pried open by a thief near Cross at a public ramp last year, thankfully all I had back there was my spare trailer tire which they left and an old jack. The Berkeley Deputy that responded said they were most likely looking for firearms and tools. My habit is to never leave anything of value visible in my locked truck cab or bed.
