Every time I’ve been there, the current was steady to the North to South. I like to paddle North while I’m fresh and then float South at the end of the day.

You like to fish the falling tide. My preference is the last couple hours of falling and the first couple of incoming.

High tide I head north low and incoming I head against the tide and hit the creek mouths where the fish are waiting to get into the creeks. Good luck!
