I put in this morning around 7. It was one of those days where you just can’t get in the groove. I’m not sure how anyone catches fish with the bait so thick! I did however get lucky catching a fingerling trout, a undersize flounder and a 1 1/2" too big red. All in all it was nice to get out. Everything hit gulp shrimp on red jig head.

Hey Ivy- think i ran into you out there this morning. I had the same kind of day…just couldnt quite get things to happen. Had three blow-ups on topwater, but nothing stuck. Ended up with a 19" trout on a green/glo slayer grub. Slooooow day, but still beat working.
Hobie Angler? If so, yep that was me headed up river. It does beat work!
