They are a very well built, high quality boat.

tell him to do a demo on a rough or heavy chop day… One of the better botton fishing rigs on a calm day but not nice in the rough. Fished the 25’ sport cabin but not the 23’.

For offshore be sure to get the deep vee not the modified vee, big difference in ride.

Wanna kill fish, then let’s go! Always ready, always willing to teach the ways.

yeah he def wants the deep-v. boat will be used exclusively for offshore fishing.

you guys know of any other boats that would compare to this model? def looking for the sport cabin type where people can lay down and get out of the weather, just chill, etc…

lets go fishin…

I ran a 2520 sport cabin on the Chesapeake Bay for a few years. In a lot of ways, I miss that boat. There were so many great things about its layout, simplicity, and construction.

I agree with the other input on the modified V versus deep V. Mine had the modified V and was not appropriate for offshore fishing except on only the best of days. I’d want the deep V if I was planning to do much offshore fishing. That runs the cost up because you really need more power (probably twins) to push the deep V.

All that said, Parker makes a great boat and I would always consider another Parker. Just make sure to do your homework on the different deadrise options they offer if you plan to fish offshore.
