Partly cold with a chance of chitty

Checked weather yesterday. Drizzly but the wind was supposed to lay down and stay warm. They got the drizzle right! Warmth and wind were an airball!
Caught a few on mm/jighead about 1/4 way into falling tide. Fish and weatherman owed us those! Nasty day!

You are all hearty souls Vin. Wanted to come down but couldn’t bear the weather…sucks here too.

I called my trip today. Temps and rain don’t bother me too much, but a 15kt NE wind I rather stay home and get ready for the Patriots to play.

Great description in your subject line. Yep we were fooled too…was raw out there. Tide was rippin too for winter fishing. Caught a couple then headed for the hill about lunchtime for a warm cup of coffee.

We let him decide after the first stop if we should go back to the landing or head up stream. He said “Lets fish!”.

Seeing you son their reminds me of the days when I would take my son out in the canoe in the cold and rain crappie fishing. All he would say is when are we going home. The answer was always the same “just one more fish”.

A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.

If you can do it do it.Life is very short.Enjoy it while you can!!!
