Passing of Jimmy Wright

I just received word that long time MSC member Jimmy Wright passed away tonight. Please keep Jimmy’s family in your prayers. This is a most difficult time for all who knew Jimmy as he was a fine a person that you would ever meet.

So sad .Jimmy was a fine man a great dad and husband and fun to be around .He was a pleasure to fish with always a good team member . Never heard him say a cross word about anyone . Many people will miss him as will Billy DuRant and myself RIP nice human being Jimmy Wright

Very sorry for the loos of your friend Marshall, although i did not know him i have heard all the great stories you have shared and know i would have liked him a lot.

All services for Jimmy Wright will take place at 1st Baptist Church of Lexington located at 415 Barr Road Lex SC on Saturday July 16. Visitation will be at 2:00pm and services will be at 3:00pm. Burial will be private.

We have indeed lost a fine gentleman! Since I joined the club in 99, I always saw Jimmy as a great angler and kind soul. On that fateful day that I earned my handle, it was Jimmy that found a way to raise me on the radio to make sure I was ok and had help on the way. That speaks volumes to the kind of person he was here on Earth.

Very sorry to hear this news. Jimmy was one of the first MSC Members I met in person when we joined… Our prayers are with Gail and Justin.

I have known Jimmy since 1985. He was an outstanding human being and a good friend. He will be missed by many. My prayers go out to Gail and Justin.
