Pathfinder 22 vs. Ranger 2310

Hoping to get a new bay boat soon, anybody own either boat or thoughts on them? Would like to get a little input on either boat. Thanks

A month ago I bought used pathfinder 22xl with f250 and I LOVE IT! No experience with the ranger but the pathfinder 22 is a well built dry ride

for some reason about 5-8 years ago the ranger bay boats switched to a top cap that has an incredibly “dorky” profile… it sticks straight up from the gunnel 4"-5". you may not care about stuff like this, but man does it make an otherwise good looking boat into a train wreck. of course beauty is subjective, and it’s only my opinion…

that aside, the build quality will be similar, but i might give the nod to pathfinder.

Thanks guys, I’m leaning towards the pathfinder now… Bull, can it handle nearshore chop pretty well? We’re heading to the keys again this summer and it seems like the perfect compromise for fishing the reefs and shallow water.

Both of those boats are top quality. When you get into boats of that caliber, the decisions will be style and features you prefer, rather than which one is “best”.

I have a 2000 Ranger 2180 and love it. Ride is great in any water. Very dry all the time. Built like a tank. Fishing from front or rear deck, plenty of room. Have a T-Top on mine. Storage areas and live wells where you need them.
