Favorite redfish patterns? Favorite trout patterns?

I heart:

But seriously, it depends on how and where you are fishing for these fish. My top 5 in no order are: Clouser minnow, kwan, gurgler, toad, and a shrimp pattern I tie, but have yet to name.

i see alot of people askin advice on patterns on this site, most south carolina fish will eat anything, if you find a school of trout they’ll eat a clouser and if you find bass theyll eat a copperhead, if its the wintertime throw a flashless pattern. sometimes you need a neutrally bouyant fly over oyster rakes and sometimes you should throw a dahlberg if the waters real dirty but if you find the fish then havin a secret pattern shouldn’t matter much,

ah ha…the drum beater. my fav too!!!
