Fished the North end of Pawleys and ended up catching 4 flounder only two over 14 all released to be caught again (but only because I cant carry a cooler on my yak haha). All caught with mullet on white jigheads. This one was the biggest of the day
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I’m going fishing…!!
From a fellow yakker: unless you are where the mature men in the gray suit are a stringer should allow you to take dinner home, if you wish. If there is nuisance activity, you can always yank the stringer into your tankwell and move along. Your catch should stay alive long enough to keep fishing, without the need for a cooler. Maybe leave an iced up cooler in your car for when you get in?
Actually you can even put your scupper plugs in, in your tankwell, put some water in there and drop you stringer in, it will help your catch stay healthy for short periods like paddling to another spot. If they jump out, you still have them on the stringer and won’t lose them. But only do this if you’re close to somewhere you can get out and pull the plugs if necessary. In Pawleys, you are in that sort of place.
