- 14 lg pears
- 8 lg green peppers
- 8 lg red peppers
- 8 lg onions
%. Optional 2-3 habanara pepper
Grind ingredients let drain for 1.5 hour
STEP 2
1 quart white vinegar
1 quart sugar
1 tble tumeric
1.5 tbl mustard seed
1 tsp. blk pepper
2 tbl salt
In large pot heat and blend all product in Step 2. After sugar has melted add pears and veggies bring to boil cook for 1 minute. Pack in sterilized jars tighten rings turn upside down let set for about 1 week. Enjoy
*** Use some caution when grinding the Habanara I have emptied entire kitchens from the fume. It suprised me what 2-3 lil peppers like that could do. yeowza
If you do not have a grinder grate pears and then fine dice onions and peppers. The food processor could be used for peppers just be careful so they do not turn into puree. Have fun all
