Kinda want to live’n this board up. So I’ll ask for help.
How do you hook a Gulp P.Crab? I am clueless, I figure for a 3rd line I would fish this type of bait. If it is a “lazy” bait I figure I can just drop it straight down (or out alittle) and let the movement of the yak rocking move the bait also.
Where and what size hook. I have 2" crabs.
I hooked them from the side of the body by the legs so it looked like it was walking with a small splitshot about 6inches from the hook

Bill, I do what stillfishing said. I use a 2/0 Circle hook through the rear of the crab, with either split shot or a small egg sinker a few inches from the crab. Just chuck it out, and let it sit. I have had great luck with this rig in the warmer tailing months with just the hook and crab, minus the weight.

gotta rig those crabs on a circle. weedless is key. its a little tricky to make this happen on the crab and make it “walk” or “sit” naturally. i wish i could show ya, but it would be too hard to say online.
