star drag wants to back itsself off when drag is being pulled … just replaced the tension spring washer thinking it might of been wore out…same ole thing with the new washer… any ideas ??
take it to B&B and ask for Jeremy he is good with Penn reels he will fix you up right. Usually a quick turn around with Jeremy.

where is that at ??? ill be going down to murrells inlet this sat with the family…im up in winston salem , but wouldnt mind taking it somewhere down there local when i get there…if they can fix it in a day or so…thanks…

A long azz way from Murrell’s Inlet and even longer from Winston-Salem. Find a local tackle shop between MI and W-S and see if they can take a look at it for you. Shouldn’t be too much of a job to fix it.
