each…does anyone know of a cheaper price anywhere ?

Just in case anyone is interested…I found a really good price on these reels. I ordered 3 of them from ManVentureOutpost.com for $66.95 each. Total with shipping was $213.95.

I have 2 of them. I bought mine at Haddrell’s Point last year with a Penn 7 ft. rod for $109. Rod’s aren’t great, but OK. So at $83 for the reels, the rods cost me $26 ea.

Get the diawa BG 2500. Its much better and nearly the same price point.

Yes sir, Jack…the rods are the weak link in those combos…I have one and it is what it is…about a $25-$30 rod. I love the reels, though.
