Hey pennys creek is the one that is on tbe left side of the bridge going to to johns from James island? It looks like good fishing on Google maps and Iit goes all the way through johns island. I think there is a pennys creek boat ramp? What is the status if the ramp? I would only want to fish that in a Jon boat or kayak. Is the fishing food in there and would it be a long way from ramp to good fishing areas? If there isn’t a ramp on the creek then what’s the closest put in for yaks? Also does anybody want to yak fish tomorrow possibly in that spot?

My neighborhood backs up to it. When I first moved in, I thought I had died and gone to heaven on the flood tide. The area looked great for reds, but it was devoid of life. Maybe out closer to the Stono it might be better, but up the creek disappointed me.
I have caught some trout and some spottails near the Rushland Landing bridge.(been several years)
You may be able to get that kayak in th water at the bridge. Check out the far right side of the bridge where the rocks are.
