Any info on where to search or go for a good perch bite on jigs or even minnows? Want to take the little man out. He’s burned out from the Striper fishing and the boy loves Bream fishing at home. I have a few different jig ideas I’d like to try. Tried in hollow 1.5 weeks ago. Marked fish on the bottom 30-40’ but wasn’t getting bites.

Went out this afternoon with a triple rig. Couple different jig heads with some ZMAN slim swimz with the bottom being a .6oz berry spoon chartreuse. Found some fish and bait but didn’t get many bites. Caught 1. I’m going to keep working at this.
Try the 1/2 ounce Berry, white with silver, green or blue reflective tape. I prefer the silver reflector a lot of perch do too! Try not to be too upset if you start catching bass, stripers or catfish, in with the perch, on the Berry spoons.
