Have 2 batteries on the boat with a Perko switch. After a couple of hours of running the radio and sounder sitting still the radio starts popping on battery 1 so I switch to batt 2 and nothing changes. Switch to both with still no change…crank motor and all is well. Took the batteries out to have tested and both tested good.My last boat I could run the livewell,VHF,and GPS for hours on end with no ill effects. So does anyone have any ideas? 2007 Scout222 Abaco. Check all your ground wires and also check to see that you are getting a full 12 volts to the radio.
